One ratio, two forbidden bands, one rule for links.
The core numbers
A story is 1080 × 1920 in 9:16. Export at that size; anything larger is re-encoded, anything smaller is soft.
The safe zones
The top 250 px holds the profile row, the bottom 320 px holds the reply bar. Text that lands there is invisible to a thumb.
Links and stickers
Place a link sticker above the bottom 320 px and keep 44 px of space around it. Stickers too close to the edge are hard to tap and get skipped.
Video versus image
Video: 30 fps, 8 to 12 Mbps. Image: PNG for text, JPEG for photos. Mixing both in one story is fine.
