Four by five, up to twenty slides, and a rule about the first one.
The numbers
A carousel slide is 1080 × 1350 in 4:5. Square 1080 × 1080 still works, but 4:5 uses more of the screen. Up to 20 slides per carousel.
The first slide does the work
Only the first slide appears in the feed. Put the promise there, not the context: the context can come on slide two.
Text and margins
Keep 60 px clear on each side and 100 px at the bottom. Anything closer to the edge gets covered by the interface.
Export order
Name the files 01 to 20 before uploading: the app keeps the order you select them in, and reordering after upload is not possible.
