The answer
How do you find your top 9 on Instagram?
Instagram does not have a 'top 9' button. Finding your nine means choosing a method — and the three methods give three different answers.
Method 1 — a collage tool
Most sites ask you to upload or pick nine photos. Fast, but you are the one choosing, so the result is a mood board, not a ranking. No numbers are involved.

Doing it by hand? The app ranks the posts you published and exports both sizes.

Method 2 — count by hand
Open your profile, sort by likes, saves or comments, write the nine down. Accurate, and slow: about twenty minutes for a year of posts, and it breaks if you change metric halfway.
Method 3 — an app that reads your posts
This is the only method that ranks what you actually published, automatically. Prevz reads the posts you published (with your permission, read-only), ranks them on one metric, and exports the card in Story and feed sizes.

Which one should you use
If you want speed and do not care about the ranking, method 1. If you want the ranking and only have a few posts, method 2. If you want the ranking done for you, method 3. The three give different nines, and that is fine — but say which one you used in the caption.
Do I need an Instagram Creator account?
Only for automatic ranking on per-post counters. A manual count works on any account.

The app builds this card from your published posts.
Prevz reads your Instagram account (optional, read-only), ranks your nine by likes, saves or comments, and exports a Story at 1080 × 1920 or a Post at 1080 × 1350.
